Japan is a fascinating land of contrasts, a melting pot of both the ancient and hyper modern worlds, where traditional and high-tech culture collide. Your students will develop a greater understanding of Japanese society and history as they visit the many temples and shrines across the country, including Tokyo’s most famous sites, a Ninja Village at Mt Fuji, and Hiroshima’s Peace Memorial Park and Museum. The school trip includes a culinary cooking class, and travel on Japan’s legendary bullet train Shinkansen.
