Put together lessons and activities for children in remote areas in Laos to learn conversational English and grammar. This volunteer program can be facilitated in association with our School Tours in Laos.

• Suitable to students from 15 - 21 y.o
• Teach conversational English and basic grammar
• Increase the children's interest and confidence in using English
• Truly connect with the locals 
• See the world from a different perspective

This project will bring students the unique opportunity to work with a disadvantaged community in Laos and contribute to providing an improved quality of life for local people. In most projects, students will travel to remote areas to contribute and develop disadvantaged communities in some of the most poverty-stricken regions.

There are many ways in which your school can engage in the Laos Community Project and activities. Students can decide from undertaking smaller-scale or a larger scale project below

• Educational support (Teach English, provide stationery and school equipment)
• Agricultural development (help with farming, and maintain sustainable practices)
• Infrastructure projects (build small roads for disadvantaged communities)
• Construct a local house, fix a kindergarten classroom, paint classrooms, install a water tank
• Support for vulnerable people (Care for children at orphanages children and the disabled)
• Health and hygiene (pass on knowledge & provide basic necessities)
