Reaching the Cable Car station, we get off the train and enjoy another 20 minutes cable car ride up to the top. Normally, it takes at least two or three days to reach the Peak of Fansipan Mountain on foot. However, with the newly three-rope cable car system, we can see the peak and spectacular surrounding from the peak within half a day.

After 20-minute ride, we start challenging yourself with 636 high steps up to Fansipan Summit – which is considered ‘The Roof of Indochina’ with 3,143-meter height. Enjoy spectacular scenery of Hoang Lien Mountain and lush forest, we walk down to the cable car station and ride back.

Take the Mountain Train back to town. Refresh for dinner and overnight at hotel in Sapa town.

After breakfast hotel, we will trek to Cat Cat Village then to Y Linh Ho village of the Hmong people. After lunch, we head to the Muong Hoa Valley, on the way passing through the villages of Lao Chai village and then to our Community Project. Our Leaders will divide in small groups and start to our project. This will take the form of practical building and some laboring tasks as we construct a house for an impoverished family in this remote region. Breaking into groups, there will be a variety of tasks to undertake each day of the project from layering bicks, mixing cement, assembling frames, hammering, sawing and transporting of materials…

Local tradesmen and tour leaders will be supervising and assisting throughout the project, often identifying students with particular skills to perform the more difficult or skill orientated tasks. Groups will be rotated throughout the project. The days will be long and the results rewarding as we see our project come to fruition and as curious villages from all around come to watch and assist us.

Finish the 1st day of community service, we walk to our homestay and assist the host with dinner cooking. Enjoy a dinner with local family and spend the night in a homestay.

We will be waked up by local sounds of birds, dogs, rosters… Breakfast await us. Then, we continue to our project site from layering bricks, mixing cement, assembling frames, hammering, sawing and transporting of material.

Local tradesmen and tour leaders will be supervising and assisting throughout the project. In the late afternoon, we finish the Community service, handling this to the local school, attend in a Postcard-drawing ceremony before saying goodbye to our new friends. Back to our homestay for the second night with the villagers.

We will enjoy a breakfast with our hosts before bidding them goodbye. Today will include a visit to the Giang Ta Chai village of the Red Dao minority people, we will also trek through a bamboo forest and pass by a majestic waterfall; taking time to rest and enjoy the surroundings.

Arriving in Sapa town and have lunch, we then have a short free time before getting on our Express Bus for the transfer back to Hanoi. Arrive in Hanoi in the late afternoon, we check in hotel for the night.

Today we set off to the ‘Jewel in the Crown of Vietnam’ – Halong Bay. Arriving before lunch we will board our boat and then set sail, cruising amongst thousands of extraordinary limestone Karst formations. Halong Bay was voted one of ‘The New 7 Wonders of Nature’ in 2011, and once here you will know why it was included in this group.

On arrival in Halong, we will embark on our cruise followed by a short cruise briefing. We will then savor a delectable lunch while we sail among the limestone islands. In the mid-afternoon, we will kayak among the hidden areas of the bay, around the Bo Nau Cave area before going back to our cruise and continue cruising to Soi Sim Island. Go swimming and relaxing at the beach of Soi Sim or climb up to the top of the island for a panorama view of Halong Bay. In the evening, we will cruise back to the main boat for a shower before having dinner and spend the night onboard.

Wake up early in the morning and start your day with Tai Chi exercises or a photo hunt before having breakfast. After that, we will explore the amazing Sung Sot Cave – the nicest cave in Halong Bay. After that, we will return to the boat, freshen up and check out of your cabin. Continue your cruise exploring the Bay, passing Ba Hang fishing village, Dog Islet, and more. While heading back to the habor, watch the cooking demonstration before enjoying a traditional Vietnamese lunch.

We will disembark at round noon and find your car is waiting and take you to Noi Bai airport for a late afternoon flight to Dong Hoi. On arrival, we will be welcomed and transferred to hotel where we spend the night.

After breakfast at hotel, we take a Dragon boat trip along Son River to Phong Nha cave and Tien Son cave.

We first arrive Tien Son cave or normally called as Dry cave, one of the most spectacular caves in Phong Nha Ke Bang National Park. Found in 1935 by a local inhabitant by accident, Tien Son is 200m above the sea level and is nearly 1 KM long. The cave features thousands amazing stalactites and stalagmites naturally shaped in different fairy-tail formations. At this stage, visitors are able to access only 400m of the cave with light system since the rest of the cave is underground and quite dangerous.

After 1.30-hour visiting the cave, we will have a lunch before exploring Phong Nha cave – Water cave. Just 1 KM away from Tien Son cave, Phong Nha is the World Heritage Site of Quang Binh Province since 2003. The cave is well-known for its fame as the oldest Karst Mountain in Asia which formed around 400 million years ago with the longest underground river system of 8 KM long and 50 meters height. Phong Nha cave also includes an array of grottoes and chambers such as Bi Ky Grotto, Cung Dinh Grotto.

After visiting the cave, we will take the boat back to the mainland and find our car to take us back to our hotel. Dinner and overnight in Dong Hoi.

After breakfast at hotel, we will be transferred to Phong Nha.

On arrival, we will have a briefing on tour program and safety guideline as well as equipment arrangement for the tour. After that, we will kayak in front of Phong Nha Cave’s entrance to Dark Cave which is around 3 KM. Around 11 AM, we’re off kayak and then reach the hiking spot (1.5 kilometers). We keep going to reach the secret underground lake, enjoy swimming through the cave in the dark. We then have a picnic lunch in the cave.

After lunch, we’re back on hiking and kayaking. Around mid-afternoon, we finish kayaking and then go to other dry chambers, see the ancient writing of Cham people – the early human in Vietnam. Back to hotel in the afternoon and have free time at leisure. Dinner and overnight in Dong Hoi.
