After breakfast at hotel, we drive to visit Cu Chi Tunnels. At its height, the tunnel system stretched over 250km from Saigon to the Cambodian border and was three levels deep. The network included innumerable trap doors, specially constructed living areas, storage facilities, weapons factories, field hospitals, command centers and kitchens. Today the remaining tunnels have become a major tourist attraction giving the visitor a unique experience and a feel of what underground life during the U.S.-Vietnam American must have been like.

After lunch in a restaurant by the river, we will be back to the city centre. The rest of the day will be devoted to some highlights of Saigon such as: Reunification Palace, a palace of old President in South of Vietnam during the American war; Notre Dame Cathedral and Old Post Office, the two sites that we can ignore when we visit the city. Our free evening activities should be: walking around at the night market in Ben Thanh market area; explore the highest building in Ho Chi Minh City, Bitexco…. Dinner at restaurant and overnight at hotel.

Today we head off to Vung Tau; our first stop being the site of the former Nui Dat Task Force Base followed by a visit to the Long Tan Cross. Afterward, we will continue on to the Long Phuoc Tunnels and visit the former Minh Dam Secret Zone and Long Hai. Sight-seeing in Vung Tau will also include the massive War Memorial at Back Beach.

This afternoon we will visit the Nui Dat Kindergarten which was opened in October 2010. This Kindergarten was funded by the Australian Vietnam Volunteers Resource Group and now stands on the site where over 5000 Australian soldiers were based at any one time during the Vietnam War. At present it provides long day care for 50 children between the ages of 3 and 5; children who will revel in the company of our group. Whether we are helping with their lessons or enjoying a game of soccer the smiles which will be generated will certainly make this visit a memorable one. Late afternoon we make our way back to Ho Chi Minh City for overnight accommodation.

Time will be on your own until you take the noon flight to Buon Ma Thuot. On arrival, we will be picked up at Buon Ma Thuot airport and transfer to the center of city. We then visit Daklak Museum where we can learn the history, the nature and the culture of ethnic groups in The Central Highlands of Vietnam... We will see many things come from the daily life of ethnic minorities such as: clothes, cultivated tools, musical instruments... Visit and take photos at Buon Ma Thuot Victory Monument. Check-in a hotel and have refresh before dinner. Overnight at hotel in Buon Ma Thuot.

After breakfast, you will be picked-up at your hotel in Buon Ma Thuot and transfer to the Yok Don national Park, the largest park in Vietnam. We take a boat cross the Serepok River to get inside the park. Start hiking in the forest, within the diverse flora and fauna. We have many chances to see birds, some small animals and several species of orchids on the way. After picnic lunch, we will get to our site and start our ‘Tree-planning Project’ to enrich the ecosystem of the park. Later today, we hike to our Camp site for camping overnight with dinner cooked by our guide.

Wake up early in the morning and enjoy fresh air with sounds of the nature. We continue to our project site and have another day of tree planting project. Dinner at camp site and overnight in a tent.

After breakfast at camp site, we take the boat back to the mainland and have a bus waiting and take us to the airport in Buon Ma Thuot for an early afternoon flight to Hanoi. On arrival, we will be welcomed and transferred to the hotel. The rest of the day will be. Overnight in Hanoi.

Today we will venture out to explore Hanoi. First up we will drive to the Ho Chi Minh complex where we will spend time at Ho Chi Minh's mausoleum, his former stilt-house, the Presidential Palace, the Ho Chi Minh Museum and One Pillar Pagoda. Followings we visit the Temple of Literature, which originally built as a temple to Confucius. After lunch, we visit the Museum of Ethnology, which is widely acknowledged as the best in the country and has an extensive display dedicated to Vietnam's 54 Ethnic minority peoples and the infamous Hoa Loa Prison Museum. Hoa Loa is also known as the ‘’Hanoi Hilton’’ and was where former US presidential candidate John McCain was incarcerated for over 5 years.

We then enjoy a 1-hour cyclo tour of the French inspired "old quarter" before sitting down to enjoy a performance of the city’s famous Water Puppets. Dinner and overnight in Hanoi.

Today we set off to the ‘Jewel in the Crown of Vietnam’ – Halong Bay. Arriving before lunch we will board our boat and then set sail, cruising amongst thousands of extraordinary limestone Karst formations. Halong Bay was voted one of ‘The New 7 Wonders of Nature’ in 2011, and once here you will know why it was included in this group. On arrival in Halong, we will embark on our cruise followed by a short cruise briefing. We will then savor a delectable lunch while we sail among the limestone islands.

In the mid-afternoon, we will kayak among the hidden areas of the bay, around the Bo Nau Cave area before going back to our cruise and continue cruising to Soi Sim Island. Go swimming and relaxing at the beach of Soi Sim or climb up to the top of the island for a panorama view of Halong Bay. In the evening, we will cruise back to the main boat for a shower before having dinner and spend the night onboard.

Wake up early in the morning and start your day with Tai Chi exercises or a photo hunt before having breakfast. After that, we will explore the amazing Sung Sot Cave – the nicest cave in Halong Bay. After that, we will return to the boat, freshen up and check out of your cabin. Continue your cruise exploring the Bay, passing Ba Hang fishing village, Dog Islet, and more.

While heading back to the habor, watch the cooking demonstration before enjoying a traditional Vietnamese lunch. We will disembark at round noon and find your car is waiting and take you back to Hanoi. Enjoy your Farewell Dinner and overnight in Hanoi.
